what’s new:
Deleting a message You can delete messages for yourself or just for yourself.
For deleting messages for everyone
By deleting messages for everyone, you can delete specific messages sent in a group or in a personal conversation. This is particularly useful if you sent a message to the wrong chat or there was a mistake in the message you sent.
The messages you delete will be replaced with “Your message was deleted” in the chat (*) of your recipients. Similarly, if you see “This message was deleted” in the chat, it means that the sender removed his message for everyone.

Seven minutes after sending, you can only delete messages for everyone. Once after seven minutes have passed, there is no way to remove messages for everyone. To delete messages from everyone:
Open Whatsapp and go to the message in which you want to delete.
Tap and hold the message> choose Delete from the menu. Alternatively, to delete several messages at once and select the message.
Tap Delete> Delete for All.

pay attention:
To successfully delete messages, both you and your receiver need to use the latest version of WhatsApp for Android, iPhone or Windows Phone.
(*) If you or your recipients are not using the latest version of Whatsapp for Android, iPhone or Windows Phone, this feature will not be supported.
The recipient can see your message before it is deleted or before being able to delete the message.
If deletion was not successful for everyone, you will not be notified.
